Required Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of experience focused in BAS in the design, construction, renovations and/or operation and maintenance of institutional facilities.
- Must have good communications skills both verbal and written.
- Read, understand and interpret architectural blueprints and integrated system sequence of operations.
- Requires a minimum of a vocational or technical training in computer science, programming or related field.
- Requires NICET level-2 technical certification for video security systems.
- Requires understanding of HVAC operations.
- Must be a high school graduate or have passed the G.E.D. equivalency exam.
- Must have an appropriate valid Florida Driver’s License and must maintain the same during employment.
- Must have a safe driving history prior to employment. Safe driving history shall be interpreted as follows: On a license record search, no accumulation of points totaling 8 or more in any 12-month prior within the 3 (3) years immediately preceding the record search; and no conviction of DUI within the seven (7) years immediately preceding the record. A no-contest plea shall be considered the same as a conviction.
